YOGA IN DEPTH

200 hour Hatha Vinyasa Teacher Training

August - October 2026

Do you want to learn about youself and the world around you through the lens of yoga? Would you like to share this wonderful practice with the world?

Drawing on nearly 20 years of combined teaching experience, Claire Blackwood and I have crafted the kind of Yoga Teacher Training we would want for themselves.

One that nurtures confident, capable and authentic teachers, respects the roots of the practice, and encourages a lifelong curiosity about the many layers of yoga.

This 200-hour yoga teacher training isn’t about giving you all the answers; it’s about opening doors. It’s a space to experiment, to question, to find your truth. Through this wonderful lens.

You’ll be offered tools, practices, and insights to support your growth, but there’s no one way to use them. Whether you’re drawn to teaching, seeking a deeper relationship with your practice, or simply wanting to live with more intention, this experience is yours to shape.

We’ll walk beside you, but the direction you take is entirely your own

Held in person, part-time at Folde Yoga School, nipaluna/Hobart

  • If you are searching for a training that challenges you while nourishing you at the same time, you’ve just found it. Claire and Hayley are exceptional teachers, skillfully weaving together their experience across different topics. They teach with a sensitive, thoughtful lens, fully attuned to the world we live in today

  • This 200 hour yoga training with Hayley and Claire was so special. Their depth of knowledge and experience was invaluable, and I now have such a deeper level of understanding of the history and practices of yoga, as well as the skills and confidence to jump in and start teaching. It was so great to be part of such a supportive group of like-minded people and grow so much within myself along the way.

  • Claire and Hayley are exceptional teachers. The course was thoughtfully designed and beautifully paced, creating a space that felt both safe and stimulating. They strike a rare balance—kind and compassionate, yet unwavering in their standards. Their feedback was clear, constructive, and always delivered with care. It’s a rare kind of teaching that pushes you forward while keeping you grounded. I am really grateful

  • This yoga teacher training came at the perfect time for me. It is one of my favourite opportunities that I have exposed myself to personally and professionally. I deepened my practice so wonderfully and was expertly guided from a variety of practitioners. Learning opportunities were offered in physical and educational ways. The content was so intentional and holistic. I am still sitting with where I will take my new found teaching knowledge, but feel very prepared to take it out into the world. The community and support that I gained from the training is invaluable. I acknowledge my privilege and access in being able to engage with this opportunity and that not everyone in the community has this. This makes me more grateful for the focus on equity and access that was imbued into the content delivered throughout the training. This training was about so much more than asana and there is something to be gained for anyone that is considering taking this training opportunity in the future.

  • I can thoroughly recommend Folde's teacher training course.  Having previously experienced a 200h course at a busy school in Bali the contrast was striking.  Hayley and Claire are clearly devoted and passionate teachers motivated to present a course designed for today.  I loved the emphasis on social accountability, inviting the student to discern the true intentions of yoga practice without appealing simply to tradition.  The course challenges the student to dig deeply, reflect and grow in a safe and inclusive environment
