Cooling Yin 50 minutes

Use this yin practice anytime you're experiencing excess heat in your body or your mind.

Pitta/fire can build heat around the internal organs, around the eyes and within the mind; we may become irritable or intense.

This practice utilises simple, long held poses to stimulate the kidney and liver meridians as well as cooling pranayamas to cool the physical body and quiet the mind.

Props suggested: A block, blanket, cushion, bolster... anything you have! Gather your soft furnishings to support yourself.
If you have nothing available, a blanket or towel will work fine.
