Summer Heat, Low Energy 60 minutes

A class for when it's hot outside and you need to move slowly.

We begin laying down, allowing the body to cool and opening the legs and hips.
Followed by slow and simple sun salutation C, some gentle twisting and side body opening.
Finishing up with a more yin style practice of forward folds to stimulate the kidney meridian and cool the body down.

Finally, a very short savasana followed by a breath meditation to calm the mind.

Props suggested: A blanket, cushion or block to sit on for meditation.
