Cool Your Pitta 45 minutes
A hatha style practice to cool and calm the intensity and heat of pitta.
During summertime, pitta can rise in excess in the body. This can show up not only as heat, itching and rashes, but also as intensity, hyper-fixation and competitiveness.
To calm the energy of pitta, we want to cool the body, simplify the movements and twist and wring the internal organs.
This sequence offers a cooling pranayama, sheetali, at the end which involves rolling and breathing through the tongue, followed by a simple meditation.
if you have more time to sit at the end, I would recommend doing so.
